Oak Brook Worship Schedule | The Invitation
Sermon Series
The Invitation
Sunday | June 22
9:00 & 10:45 a.m. | Oak Brook
10:00 a.m. | Butterfield
Thursday, June 19 | 7:00 p.m. | Contemporary | Oak Brook
We invite you to a special service of worship, prayer and reflection as we honor Juneteenth—the day that marks the end of slavery in the United States on June 19, 1865, and calls us to remember, learn and grow. With messages from Rev. Charlie Browning and Rev. Steve Carter, we’ll explore the book of Philemon and unpack what it means to bear witness to the work God is already doing in the world, and break down worldly barriers of division. Together, we’ll consider how the Spirit actively to invites us toward reconciliation, justice and the heart of Jesus, even in a world plagued with division.
