Sunday Groups

Many times life-change happens in smaller communities of people whether they are gatherings of men, women, or families at all stages of life. Small groups offer great opportunities to grow closer to new Christian friends and deeper in your faith. At Christ Church, the way we pursue life-changing discipleship is through small groups.

On Summer Break | Class will resume September 9

The Friendship Bible Class, a program for teens and adults with disabilities, will begin its 26th year on September 9th at Christ Church.

The class begins each week by attending the first portion of the contemporary worship service in the Fellowship Hall. Upon returning to the classroom, all students and teachers gather as a group to listen to a Bible story presented by the group leader. Following this group session, students will pair up with their mentors for a breakout session to discuss the Bible story, complete activities in the take-home paper, pray together, and build relationships. A social time of fellowship and refreshments concludes the class each week.

In addition to each Sunday's class, students are encouraged to participate in the life of the church by volunteering for service projects, serving as greeters, and attending worship services. Social activities for the group are also planned throughout the year.
