Follow Group Experience
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Follow group experience?
The Follow group experience is a six-week journey designed to help our community not only learn about Jesus but learn to live as His apprentices—growing in relationship with Him and practicing the way of Jesus together. The guidebook will offer brief daily devotional guide for six weeks, with 5 days of reading, prayer and reflection and 2 days of rest each week.
How does the sermon series relate to the group experience?
The series and the guide do not match week-by-week; instead, the Live to Follow series, provides the theological and inspirational foundation for this journey. It helps shape the vision of discipleship and frames the “why” behind the practices we explore in groups.
Who is this for?
Any small group or individual who wants to intentionally grow in discipleship. Whether you’re new to the faith, returning after a long time, or have been following Jesus for years, this experience offers a fresh framework for your spiritual journey. The books are accessible for middle and high school students and we have coloring books for our younger participants.
What topics will we explore?
The six weeks follow this flow:
- God’s Epic Story
- It’s All About Jesus
- Learning the Way of Jesus
- Practicing the Way of Jesus
- Living the Way of Jesus
- Five Tools of Spiritual Formation
Is there a way to donate a guidebook?
Yes. If you’d like to make the experience accessible for someone who may not be able to purchase a guide, you can donate a copy. Your gift allows us to place resources directly into the hands of someone eager to participate—quietly and without spotlighting need—so everyone can journey together.
Are there resources for leaders? – DO YOU WANT TO BE A LEADER
Leaders will receive tips for facilitating well (holding space, asking questions, etc.)
The guide is built to be approachable. Leaders don’t need to be experts—your role is to create space for conversation, reflection, and shared experience. The material supports you with prompts, practices, and closing reflections each week.
Can we invite friends or neighbors?
Absolutely. This series is both accessible and invitational. It’s a great season to bring someone into the journey of discovering who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him.
When should I start reading?
Depending on your group, you should begin reading on Monday, January 12 or Monday, January 19.
How do I sign up or get more information?
You can purchase the guidebook and the coloring book here. You can register for a table group (meeting Sundays starting January 25, 4:00–5:30 p.m.) here.
