We welcome you to use your musical gifts as part of our classic worship and music community. Ranging in age and training, all members contribute to leading our congregation in classic worship services and events.

The Chancel Choir is a community passionate about worship and music. Members, ages 19–90, include untrained amateurs, professionals and those in between. They lead the congregation of Christ Church in hymns and anthems on Sundays and various classic worship events. The annual Advent CarolFest Concerts, featuring Handel’s Messiah, and Holy Week presentations are beloved by the congregation and community. The Chancel Choir sings a variety of styles including, classical, gospel, spirituals, and modern anthems, accompanied by organ, piano or orchestra. No audition is required.

Chamber Choir
Services: Sundays twice a month | 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. | September–May
The Chamber Choir is an advanced choral ensemble of 24–28 talented men and women. They lead the Christ Church congregation in worship on Sundays and at various classic worship events. Their beloved annual Festival of Lessons and Carols services occurs annually on the first Sunday of Advent and they often present a fun Pops Concert in June.
An audition is required for membership in Chamber Choir and can be arranged by contacting Susan Mech at smech@christchurch.us. Members must be able to read music, sightread and learn a part independently.
Services: Varied, as needed
Anyone who plays an instrument at an advanced high school level or better is encouraged to participate in worship music throughout the year. Opportunities are available for prelude and offering soloists, choral accompaniments and orchestral engagements. An audition is required for consideration and can be arranged by contacting Susan Mech at smech@christchurch.us. Instrumentalists must read music.
