Christ Church Kids | Birth–Grade 5

Christ Church Kids meets every week during both services and during all Easter services. It's important to register your child for Christ Church Kids with the link below before arriving to church.

Eggstravaganza: Egg Hunt & Family Fun | April 8 | 2:30–3:45 | Grades 1–5
Gather Saturday (following Egg Hunt) | Easter Saturday, April 8 | Grades 1–5
Gather Sunday | Easter Sunday, April 9 | Grades 1–5

Children are a vital part of the church today. Every week during all our services, our team of faith mentors teach the Bible and lead worship, spurring our children to love Jesus wholeheartedly and carry His light into their world. Christ Church Kids is a place where kids ages birth–grade 5 receive tangible expressions of God's grace and truth through fun, age-appropriate activities.

Register Your Child
At the start of every school year and if you are new, we ask that all children be registered for Christ Church Kids. Please use the link above. You will be unable to check in at a kiosk and print a nametag for your child on Sundays if he/she is not registered.

Sunday Check-in Process & Security Pick-up Tag
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before service to have ample time to park, check in your kids, and walk them to their classrooms. If you enter the church through doors 1 or 17, you will find our Christ Church Kids CHECK-IN area between both doors. A greeter will be able to point you in the right direction, and a member of our Christ Church Kids team will then guide you through the check-in process. When you walk up to a kiosk, enter your phone number on the touchscreen and choose a class for your child based on age and service time. A nametag and a security pick-up tag will immediately print. Place the nametag on your child and drop him or her off at class before the service starts. After the service, it is required that you give the security pick-up tag to your child’s teacher in order to pick up him or her.

Pre Check-in on Christ Church Connect App
For faster check-in, you can download the Christ Church Connect App. On Sundays before arriving, you can open the app and click on your profile picture to find "Pre Check-in". Choose your child's class and then a QR code will appear that you will scan at a kiosk. After scanning the QR code, your child's nametag and security pick-up tag will print for you. Pre Check-in only works if your child has been registered with the link above.

Release On Own | Grades 4 and 5
If you have a child in grade 4 or 5 who wishes to be released from class on his or her own without a parent or guardian showing a security pick-up tag to the teacher, please click on the Register Your Child link above and choose the RELEASE ON OWN class. Be sure to set up a common meeting spot for your family.

Gather Sundays | Once per month | Grades 1–5
Most Christ Church Kids say this is the most fun Sunday of the month! It is a large group setting with fun games, crafts and worship. See more details below.

What does Family Worship and Child Care Only mean?
There are several Sundays throughout the year that we like to give our volunteers a break from teaching and encourage our families to have Family Worship which means your children attend service with you. However, there may be times when child care is available for children 4 years and younger. Family Worship is typically scheduled on holiday weekends.

Our VBS is a Bible-rich program grounded in hands-on, multi-sensory learning experience that everyone will be talking about for years to come. Make sure to bring your friends along to join you on this galactic journey of a lifetime!

During VBS, your child will experience large group worship and then rotate to different interactive stations to further explore that day's Bible lesson. They will enjoy and learn through music, cinema, a Bible story and games.

All children who attend VBS will be invited with their families to church the Sunday after VBS. You can drop off your child at Christ Church Kids while you attend the 9:00 or 10:45 a.m. service at Oak Brook or 10:00 service at Butterfield. The children will be singing the VBS songs in their class. So mark your calendar because we would love to have you join us at church! To save time on Sunday morning you can register ahead of time: Register Your Child | Oak Brook or Register Your Child | Butterfield. 9:15
    11:15 a.m. | Oak Brook | Fellowship Halls

Christ Church MOPS believes in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. We rally women to help them become more brave, kind and honest by providing a safe and loving community to journey through motherhood. We know that mothering can be challenging at times, and so MOPS is here to create a space where moms can be themselves.

Our specialty is serving moms. Whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom or seventh-time mom, you are welcome here. Whether you are an adoptive mom, young mom, seasoned mom, foster mom, stepmom or any other type of mom, you are welcome here.

We begin meetings with a delicious spread of food to choose from and a time to chat with new and old friends. We enjoy listening to a speaker and finish our meeting by discussing the topic around our tables.

Childcare is given to children from infants to kindergarten through our MOPS Kids program. Mothers can relax and enjoy our meetings knowing the MOPS Kids program is caring for their children in the best possible way. The quality care, fun lessons and biblical teaching that MOPS Kids offers helps moms get the most out of their time in the meeting.
