Children's Ministry

Children's Ministry

Children are a vital part of the church today. They are not the next generation, they are part of our faith community now. We need them. They inspire us. At Christ Church we are passionate about creating environments where children and servant leaders can engage with one another and where we give space for the Holy Spirit to move and form these young hearts and minds. Creative teams teach the bible and lead worship, spurring our children to love Jesus wholeheartedly and carry His light into their world. Our Children’s Ministry is a place where kids ages birth-fifth grade receive tangible expressions of God's grace and truth amongst a vibrant, loving and caring community of faith.

    Third Grade Bible Celebration
February 23-24 | Oak Brook and Downers Grove

    Third Grade Bible Celebration
February 23-24 | During Weekend Services | Oak Brook and Downers Grove

The third-grade students in our Children's Ministry are at an exciting stage of spiritual development as they begin to learn how to navigate the Bible and seek ways to express their own personal relationship with God. The Children’s Ministry team would like to partner with families to help celebrate this important faith milestone by providing a copy of the New Living Translation of The Hands On Bible.

For the four weeks leading up to the celebration, we will be launching our Third Grade Bible Class starting on January 27. The students will have an opportunity to explore their new Bibles with their shepherds, ask questions, and dive into the living Word of God! The Bibles will stay at church until after the celebration on February 23 and 24.
