Kids Hope
One hour mentoring per week | Various Schools | Villa Park & Lombard
Every child deserves someone in their corner. As a Kids Hope mentor, you’ll spend just one hour each week at York Center School, Stevenson School or North Elementary School offering encouragement, support and friendship to a child who needs it most.
Mentors help with schoolwork, play games, or simply listen—but most importantly, they show up consistently. That steady presence builds trust, confidence and hope for the future.
No special skills are required—just a caring heart and a commitment to be there. One hour a week can change a child’s story and it just might change yours, too.
Prayer partners are also an important part of this child’s journey. Prayer partners will not meet with students but will provide important spiritual support to the child’s mentor.
All of these schools are within District 45 in Villa Park & Lombard. For more information about Kids Hope, please contact Stefanie Waliuddin at swaliuddin@ChristChurch.us.
